What goes in your mouth - Food & Water
You are what you eat. We have all heard that phrase.
If the majority of your meals and snacks are processed food... that needs to change NOW.
I know it can be tough to start. But once you start making these changes you will see your energy and mood improve, making it easier to keep going.
Focus on WHOLE FOODS (not the supermarket). Shop the perimeter of the grocery store. Try cutting out highly inflammatory foods like gluten and dairy for 4 weeks and see how it affects you. If you have been EDS tested to avoid or eliminate certain foods. DO IT. Your body is telling you what it wants.
For digestive health it is better to have 3 meals a day than grazing all day. Your digestive system needs a break. If you are constantly sipping a smoothie or juice you may be putting out your digestive fire. Your water goal should be half your body weight in ounces. Drink between meals not during meals. For many clients this is a challenge.
Some tips from successful clients:
Drink 32 oz of warm water with lemon upon arising.
For every cup of caffeine/coffee you drink you need an additional 12 oz of water. This may help reduce your caffeine intake.
Get a really cute large reusable bottle. If its 32 oz know how many of them you need to drink to reach your goal.
Make sure you get a glass or metal one. Avoid plastic because it is full of hormone disruptors.
Flavor your water with citrus essential oils, ACV, fruit. Make it more enjoyable to drink.
What has helped you increase your water intake?
Many new clients tell me they are sleeping less than 7 hours a night. Sometimes clients tell me they are getting as little as 5 hours a night!!!
Your body can't heal and regenerate with this little sleep!!
If you aren't sleep 8-9 hours/night you need to change your schedule. Whether it's cutting out some entertainment in the evening, planning better, changing your workout time. Make the necessary changes.
You will be amazed at how much better you feel.
If you aren't sleeping 8 hours a night because you have trouble falling or staying asleep you need to get EDS tested ASAP. We will examine what the root causes are and get you on a program to better health.

Sorry, we can't skip this one. Your lymphatic system is the septic system in your body. It drains your tissues and helps keeps your body clean. It is closely tied in with immune, colon, lung and skin health. In order for it to do it's job you need to DRINK WATER and MOVE! Your muscles act as a pump to help move lymph fluid along.
If you add in exercise to a well targeted supplement protocol you are going to really FAST TRACK the results you see. It doesn't have to be complicated. Daily walking will make a difference.
